Vision:

The following are the elements of Canadian Sheep Federation's Vision for tomorrow:
Provide member organizations with one, nationally aligned and recognized voice for Canadian sheep producers;
Provide leadership for the legislative changes that are necessary;
Represent the interests of the Canadian Sheep Industry at the federal level;
Implement an industry strategy for viability and growth;
Support member organizations in their work to make producers a more competitive and successful part of Canadian Agriculture;

Mission:

The mission of the Canadian Sheep Federation is to represent the interests of Canadian sheep producers, through the member organizations, and provide leadership to the industry aimed at furthering the viability, growth and prosperity of the Canadian sheep and wool industry.

Statement of mandate:

The Canadian Sheep Federation (CSF) represents producers nationally through its Board of Directors, made up of representatives from provincial sheep associations and Affiliate Members. Likewise, the CSF partners with national organizations and members of the industry value chain on key industry issues. Our mission is to further the viability, expansion and prosperity of the Canadian sheep and wool industries.

Strategic Objectives:

To provide leadership to the Canadian Sheep Industry in the development of its production capacity:

To develop the entire set of knowledge features that the CSF and its membership will need to ensure that the Canadian Sheep Industry is based on an evidence-based footing:

To ensure effective communications linkages and information flow with producers and stakeholders:

To determine and sustain the necessary organizational structure and functions to achieve CSF's business strategy and provide effective support to the producer:

To develop the capability and processes aimed at attracting revenues needed to support CSF initiatives:
